recording singing

Whoop Whoop
I (sort of) wrote a song, closer to a rap but whatever. I was wondering how I might record the singing, as I can't afford some super awesome microphone, but I don't want it to sound like crap. Any ideas?

Btw the song is titled: An Urban Dictionary Song: The Internet

I get the ideas for the lyrics from funny facts on urban dictionary about a certain subject. I hope to turn this into something great xD anyway any help appreciated :)

To sound good, you'll need to spend about $150. Get a small 4-5 channel mixer with a USB out for your computer. An XLR cable, and a Shure SM58. You won't need better kit until you're doing it professionally.

Or you could get a USB microphone such as the Audio Technica 2020 USB or the Sampson CO1U. They sound good and are just plug in and use. They would also be useful for future videos if you ever wanted to do voiceovers and such.

I use the G-Track. With that microphone you will have all in one. It has given me a quality oriented Audio with out any latency. I will be purchasing Studio monitors for using G-Track with them. G-Track gives me a professional sound at a lower cost. I am setting up my home studio for recording purpose. And this Baby will gonna give me a quick start.
