Okay the title is a bit over exaggerated, but its still related.
I was wondering exactly why people call their fan-bases Army's? I understand that their hoping to show that the subscriber base is a collection of people working together and a force to be reckoned with on YouTube (as in a good fan-base compared to others). I just think the concept of Army is getting a bit overused.
Every time I look around YouTube, "Join the ____ army", "Want to join the ___ army", "The ___ army is the best" Personally I wouldn't ever call a fan-base an army as the word doesn't seem relate-able enough to me, and makes me immediately think of some war related act. I know that some people here have called their fan-base the same, so if any of you read this it would be nice if you could explain why you chose this?
Any responses are welcome, thanks
