But are they really helpful? I mean, yeah reading some notes about the network and partnership is always nice, because text are mostly in a positive way to attract people to join them, but in reality are they really helping YouTube channels?

To smaller channels not really. The most they provide is usually music and better CPM, the former is available already and the latter is useless to small channels since they're earning very little anyway.

They might provide better Analytics too.

Just adding, Networks need you more then you need them. At the end of the day you bring in the money. If you read though the contract and are not happy with some or all of it you can propose suitable changes.
