Quantity or Quality?

Quality anyday. When I first started YT I use to do it the other way round. I quickly learned that lesson fast, since then it`s all been about focusing and taking time to make videos the best I can about content I love. That`s why I don`t upload daily that would be impossible for me to do that and keep the quality of my videos the same.
 
Quality > Quantity - More people will subscribe to content which has great editing, high quality and entertaining as it's more professional and quite frankly... less boring xD Quantity isn't the way to go as trying to produce say 1 video a day can cause it's quality to go down causing less people to come across and enjoy the video.
 
I think it depends. New channels should upload higher quality videos to get exposure. When the channel grows (I mean thousands of subs), you can upload more videos to get more views (and money, if you care about them) and let the subscribers active.
I think it depends more than that. Gaming channels should upload more videos, maybe one gameplay every 2 days. Tutorial channels should upload quality tutorials less often. Anyways, it's just my opinion.
 
Quality.

Always, always quality.

You talk about views, but if you make one quality video, surely people would look forward to the next one? And watch regardless of how many videos you push?
 
I think that quality and quantity are important when trying to get noticed. If you can manage to upload quality videos as much as possible, you will grow faster than if you have very few videos with quality. It takes a lot of time and effort into being able to do both, but people who do usually become successful.
 
I wouldn't say that pure quantity will gain you much but if you produce enough quality content you can certainly get away with videos that require less effort e.g. Q&A.
 
As a channel that puts out 5 videos a week, it's really tempting to skimp on quality. Then I think about my goals for my channel and putting out low quality videos go against my goals of growing. So no matter what it takes put out quality content or wait till you can.
