Purchasing Le' New Microphone

So, it's almost 99% confirmed that I'll be ordering this microphone today. It's pretty awesome, seen some quality tests on YouTube and sound quality is brilliant. I've still gotta get a pop filter, but I'm thinking about making my own. They can be made here for about $10. Hahaha. I also write my own music, so it should be good being able to record it now.

I'm hoping so, with HD video and a decent computer, I think my audio quality is the only thing that really needs improving.

That price kinda sucks, but you Aussies get screwed on that all the time. heh.

The mic is a good one. Not sure about using a condenser for music though. It will do the job, but that mic is designed as a podcasting mic.

It's only to record some freestyle and such, I write rap so.. It's just to record shtuff ahaha.

And yeah, our prices are terrible here. Everything is ridiculous. Considering the AUD and the USD are only a few cents off and you guys can get the mic for $70, it's kinda messed up.

From what I've heard it's one of the best usb condensor mics on the market. Apart from it's sister model the AT2020

Nice buy, best and most popular mics atm are the 2500,2020, Yeti and Snowball. Allot of people own the Snowball or Yeti.

Alot of people go for the Snowball because it was considered the "Must have" for so long. It's kinda a bit over-rated now, sure.. The quality is fairly good, but it's become more of a stereotypical microphone for YouTube Gamers.

I bought it because of tests and it's look, it't not a must have, the Yeti and AT2020 are allot better, but the Snowball was in my price budget and had good quality. I agree that it is way overrated.
