PS4 built-in vs Elgato

Alright, so here's my question for you guys who used/use PS4 or just simply know anything related to the topic PS4 built-in capture card vs Elgato HD 60. What I want to know, how big of a difference is there between those two things. I've recorded some footage with PS4 built-in capture card and it looks solid/good. Would Elgato improve the quality.

Another difference I know is that PS4 will split clips each 15 minutes, while elgato can work much longer.

My question to you guys; is it worth for me to try and get elgato hd 60 from the get-go or I can invest the money into a little bit later? What's your opinion on this? I'm building a new PC so that isn't cheap, but should I invest and try to buy elgato as well?

I'm not sure of the ability of the PS4 to include a facecam while streaming. If you wanted to live stream with a facecam you'd probably need a capture card.
Also depending on how good your computer is you can use the Elgato to record PC gameplay instead of using software alone. My computer is good enough to run games on ultra settings, but adding recording software I'll have to tweak both to get a smooth recording. When I use the Elgato the video files are small with very good quality while still being able to play my games at a high quality.
If you are only recording PS4 and nothing else and will edit the footage later an Elgato is not needed in your case. There will probably be people who post quality comparisons as time goes on.

PS4 recordings are only 14MB/s, whereas the Elgato HD60 goes up to 40. The higher the bitrate, the higher the quality. I absolutely LOVE my HD60.
