Problem with Facebook. Getting Subs.

Maybe you do something like say if you reach a certain number of subs you will a certain game maybe some of those facebook views might get curious enough to create an account and sub to your channel.

mmm thats an idea. some kind of this amount of subs unlocks this video? interesting. has anyone actually done this or a study on this?

I am fairly new to this also, and have discovered they come naturally, i have a fanpage on facebook also, and have been working on my channel for almost a week now. Seeing other threads on here has and most definately will help me in the future, so go and look into the other treads here, because im sure they will help you if it helped me

All the best :)

I just started sending out Thank You messages to those who subscribed. I hope i don't freak any of them out.

I find it wierd though that the ones subscribing to my channel are actually finding me on youtube search. not from my facebook page. A big chunk of them are from youtube search when i checked my analytics.

that means that you are doing your tags right ;)

Honestly the point of having subscribers is for people to see your videos, if people are watching them through facebook, why does it matter? If you keep notifying them it shouldn't be a problem

hmm.. well look at it this way. You make a vid. Blast it on Facebook. They view it, maybe even like or comment on it. After a few days that video will be buried under other posts. On youtube even if the video is 2 years old it is easily accessible which makes it a better social media tool.

I don't agree with other people saying that subs are just a number because it really isn't just that. It shows the dedication your followers have in you which makes other users enticed to see whats up with your channel. If you came across a channel with equal quality content but one with 1000 subs and one with 20 which would you rather sub to? Most of us would pick the one with 1000 since there probably is more engagement there from followers and the channel owner.
