Problem with After Effects Audio out of sync !!

Hey Guys !

I have installed Adobe After Effects CS6 trial version and I am trying to edit my video but the audio is out of sync i.e. the audio plays earlier then the sniper shots.
Can you guys help me to overcome this problem.

When you watch the raw footage, is the audio out of sync?
 
First of all, I wouldn't recommend AE to edit, but it is a good software for compositing of course. Unless that's what you meant. Then I just look stupid haha. Anyways, I believe it might have something to do with the fact that it is trial? I couldn't tell you for sure since I've always owned the product but it is an angle worth looking at, I believe.

^ This. Don't use After Effects for editing video, instead use Adobe Premiere.
