Popular Channels: Fading away

I Love YTtalk
YouTube can be much like Television. TV shows have good multi-year runs and then they get canceled. Sometimes, good shows don't even make it past the first year. For whatever reason, the audience/viewership isn't enough to keep it going. Other times, the show has run it's course and it isn't interesting enough anymore. Then there are moments when the show has jumped the shark...

What YouTube channels do you consider to have run their course or jumped the shark and why?
What YouTube channels are fading away due to their own doing and what was that action?
Are there current YouTube channels that you get the feeling that they have run their course? [DOUBLEPOST=1385601581,1385601141][/DOUBLEPOST]I just found a similar topic. Be sure to give him a look as well. It talks about the early days of YouTube.

You know what was a short-running-but-brilliant show? Pushing Daisies. Did anyone else on here watch that show? It was so adorable and perfect but it only ran for two seasons, and some of the second season's last episodes didn't even air until later in the year after the show was canceled.

well most of the popular youtubes use a bunch of "funding" to make poop, that is way worst than when they had no money, but some are still going strong, i dont wanna say any names but many know of them.

You talking behind my back again?

Topic:
YouTube has an advantage over TV shows in this point: the world wide, ever growing audience. While some people get tired new viewers emerge, which makes it easier to stay up there. That being said... those ones:

RayWilliamJohnson. Though his videos still get a lot of views, I never hear about him anymore.
You mean that guy who just directed a movie?

I watched that show and yes, it was really good (for a while. It got kind of convoluted at the end).

YouTubers that have jumped the shark? Well, any vlogger who suddenly feels like they need a gaming channel (like WhattheBuck did) probably has.

There's a fella called TheWineKone who used to be really big in the early days of youtube, he still makes videos but his recognition's dropped a ton. He's mad funny.

MisterEpicMann, especially. Huge dump. I am still subscribed until they get their s**t together, because I still have faith in them.

I believe it's the nature of any channel, tv show, or entertainer to hit that point where growth starts to go the other direction. There has to be a peak period; however, it's after that peak of interest that will show you the real entertainment value. Some one that is very talented will be able to continue to gain a new audience, even if it's not as large. And a great show, will always be a great show.

YouTube has the distinct advantage of there not being an overseeing force that cancels a channel without other circumstances unlike some great TV series. With YouTube we choose when enough is enough. This can be giving up or moving on to say, direct a movie. All things come to an end, and even PewDiePie will become yesterdays news eventually, but it'll always be great IMO.
