Please help! (arcsoft showbiz

Hey guys, sorry to make a new thread but this kinda has to do with earlier.

So my ArcSoft ShowBiz quit working this morning, been working on it all day and just can't get it to work, even reformatted my hard drive. So when I try to install it, I get the following error "An I/O error occurred while installing a file. This is normally caused by bad installtion media or a corrupt installation file. I googled it and nothing. Could really use the help. Thanks guys!

I/O errors often come from optical drives. Have you attempted using a different dvd drive?

Thanks for the answer, I have not. Computer only has one cd drive. lame

Got a USB CD Drive? or a USB to IDE adapter?

I do, but a friend has it, I'll have to go get it back. major bummer. lol. Damn Mondays!
