Pewdiepie Trolling??? SUB 4 SUB ????

Well, you didn't mention any reason for your doubt, so I'll assume it's the same reason most other people I've met who have that attitude have: Bitterness.
The amount of people who whine and can't take criticism here is astounding, there just seems to be more of them ever day.

Sorry guys, I don't mean to be rude, but if you bring the argument "40 millions subscribers and some of his videos have just a few millions views" as a proof of somebody cheating their way to the top, I really wonder if you EVER took the time to study your own channel stats

I honestly never understood why people think that x subscribers = x views per video. For most channels, the views you get per video, (that dont come from search results, but just your subscribers) will be less than 10% of the number of subs you have. I tend to see very few exceptions to this and those channels that are exceptions usually make extraordinary content without any "filler" videos and have a very strong fanbase for their content.

I do not know about pewdiepie but I know that the biggest Japanese channel (in terms of traffic) subbed to us in the begining of its existance and than promptly unsubbed. So yes sub4sub scam seems to be often used by some of the biggest channels at certain stage of their growth.

PewDiePie makes a wide variety of content now, not just gaming. Not all subscribers will be interested in everything he uploads (especially since he uploads everyday). The only people you will ever see getting close to the same number of views as subscribers after being big on YouTube for years will be a channel that uploads like once-twice a month, and something very exceptional (like ERB). I myself am subscribed to a lot of people that I watch maybe 1 out of 10 uploaded videos.

Honestly, Pewdiepie has become a YouTube staple since 2012. Ive probably made a few YouTube channels since then that are all subscribed to him, and if 400,000 people are all subscribed to him on multiple accounts (which isn't that hard to believe) the amount of subscribers doubles quickly.

Even if he did buy some of his audience it was in the early days of YouTube and he's gotten away with it you can't do that s**t now cause YouTube will pick up on it and lock your account its against their terms of service

He changed the gaming genre completely by having a facecam. That coupled with the fact that he did it with the best type of video for facecam, horror, is why he is now massive. Most gaming channels out there either strive to be him or take big inspiration from him. I myself am subscribed to him just because it is so fun to watch his sub number go up and up. I do like 1 or 2 of his videos too but I rarely watch him. I think there may be many out there like me who use his channel as motivation and to see what success is like in a good way.

If he bought or sub4subbed then fair play to him. It worked. I don't think he did at all though. He just used to post only horror and minecraft and now he posts a bit of everything (he even says he takes inspiration from Filthy Frank) which means his views are spread out accross different types of videos. Also if you look in to the comments a lot of them complain that he doesn't make the same videos he used to which always equals inactive subs. He's said he doesn't care though as it is all just for the enjoyment now.

i find pewd amazingly dull and annoying. but then again. i am not his target audience..... 12 years olds :P
