Pewdiepie hacked!

Is it true Pewdiepie got hacked? He said so on his Twitter, and his banner is...questionable.

The hacker can't delete videos though, correct?

I wonder if they can make their way into his adsense details...

They can't access his person adsense, because he doesn't use one. He's with TGS, and he can't do anything with that, other than disable his ads or something. If someone really took control of his channel though, they could delete videos or potentially close his channel. I don't know much about this, I'll look into it more.

I always thought that if your videos had enough views, it wasn't allowed to be taken down. I'm not sure if that's true or not.

I'm pretty sure he was hacked, i think they can get into his Adsense since it is on the same email (he doesn't have an adsense), they can delete his videos. Some people are saying this is happened because of the new banner instead of background deal going on

Other big YouTubers have been hacked as well apparently. It is a result of OneChannel. Left many people vulnerable during the change.

I know that you can't edit them when they get too big, meaning you can't have some p**n followed by a vlog, then after you get a million views cut out the p**n so it's just your video. I don't know anything about not being able to delete them though.

I'm trying to find a list of apparent YouTubers who have had their accounts breached. It isn't just one.

Yogscast, TheSyndicateProject, iJustine etc. All being hacked. Apparently its a protest about the new OneChannel. Lol. Someone must really hate it.

Apparently, it was a bug with javascript which allowed other users to edit peoples channels. Apparently none were breached and had passwords stolen however. Then again it's only rumours.
