I think since I reach 100 subs, people subscribe way more easily to me! And I get waaay more views.
Like now I can really feel my channel growing. Before, it was growing, but really slowly.

I think its because now they see that I'm really serious about YouTube. Did that thing happened to you guys ?

So to all of you who are almost at 100, keep going! After that, you will see a change, I can guarantee you that.

I have noticed this a lot with other youtube channels, I have a friend who reccently hit 100 subs, he started his channel back in November so yeah it took a couple months, but then I noticed a couple weeks later.. BAM! 200....another few weeks BAM!! 300, currently he is at 408 subscribers! His channel has been growing like crazy!

They always say the 1st 100 subscribers is the hardest.....*sigh* still stuck at 66 lol :P but congrats on your success of your channel!

I would guess one of the following happened:
  • one of your videos is ranking on a search results page
  • one of your videos is ranking in the 'recommended video' sidebar next to a popular video

Subscriber amount / view amount does not directly increase your traffic. Yes, you get subs because of views, but you don't get a significant higher % of people subs after viewing just because you have more subs.

Maybe...but still....Before I had to have way more views before getting a sub. But what I mean is since I reach that number, people are like: oh so this channel is actually maybe a legit one so I'm gonna subscribe to !
 
A lot of famous youtubers has said that the first 100 subs was the hardest subs to get. Once you are big everyhing just snowballs.
