Over-rated Bands/Artists?

-One direction's songs are quite good, but their fans make us hate them.
-Since 80's pop, every decade of pop passed....the music got worse.

You should try listening to some underground rap that pays old school homage. Also, how about Nas or other rappers who have been around since biggie and Tupac?

I hate pop too.

Mainstream Hip Hop sucks.

Old Linkin Park was amazing. Their new albums aren't as good. I would love to see a new Incubus album, although that leans more towards alternative than fusion.

If you sift through some new metal and emo stuff, there's a lot of good stuff to be found.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some NAS, old school Snoop, DRE, and Ice cube but newer rappers are just not living up to the standard...
 
I think most rappers apart from macklemore are overrated, nicki minaj, taylor swift and other people I can't remember are just all way over rated :)

I have to admit, the first 2 Linkin Park albums were the sh*t. Then they got worse...
 
Don't care how much hate I get for this but One Direction has to be one of them and secondly Rihanna is another.
