On the Cheap...

Hi, hi! So, I'm broke. Let's start with that...haha I'm going to be making vids on my iPhone as I have no other camera nor the money to get anything at the moment. I'm wondering if anyone else has done this/is doing this and what you'd suggest as far as good (preferably free) editing software and anything else I may need. I'm hoping to film my intro video this weekend and would like to start editing it as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance!

Well what kind of computer do you have.. If you have a mac it should come with Imovie which you can start with.. Lots of people started with Iphones.. My suggestion is just make sure your lighting is good and that you just have fun with it...

Don't forget to shoot horizontal. :D
ALWAYS! This is my BIGGEST pet peeve with people taking video with their phones![DOUBLEPOST=1413654941,1413654901][/DOUBLEPOST]

I wish I had a Mac. That's on the list of "Someday Stuff"...

Honestly you would be better with a Windows machine, the prices and power ratio is better.

Honestly the camera in the iPhone is good enough for doing videos, just make sure you have good lighting, you can get lights cheap that will do great.

Honestly iphones camera is not bad at all atleast iphone 5s or newer ones they have good cameras and vloggers especially use em for youtube videos Hence shane made iphone vlog channel. I wouldn't worry about intro much at the moment if you just started and just like @JohnKenShow said use imovie if you're on Mac or movie maker i guess for PC. Later on when you'll have some money you can maybe afford a better camera and software then you can think about making a solid intro and everything.
