One of my achievement guides has managed to gain 285 views in just well a day of being made.

Is this good for an account that has virtually no subs at all?

Of course it is, Dead Space 3 has only recently come out so people are still searching for it, especially walkthroughs/achievement guides so you made it at the right time :)
 
I must admit making video's for the DLC achievements does seem to have paid off viewer wise.

Wish it had gained me a few subs but hey you can't have everything :P

2.5k views.......I can only dream of such an accomplishment at the moment.

But still youtube is about supporting yourself so I'll find my own audience in time.

I'm assuming you mean in like a week, if you get that in a day I'll eat my non-existent hat. Be good if you did though :D
