Yeah that's what i think, guys its just because advertisers are paying less what with the Christmas season over there's no rush to advertise. Anyways i thought there were supposed to be devastating changes on 1 January? Were those few extra content ID matches supposed to be the big changes? Cos i heard that you wouldn't get monetized until youtube staff approved, but i hope not.

I've had instant monetisation on the videos I've uploaded this year, I thought the random monetisation reviews came in at the same time as the content ID matches. It's definitely not every video that needs approval anyway, they're just doing random sampling as far as I'm aware.

It depends a lot on the content of your channel. On our main channel we usually have a significant drop around April. In April there is something like spring cleaning in YouTube - a big re-wiring of the network. If you are receiving significant traffic from external to yur channel videos you may see such drop too.

I had a look at your channel. In general you should not worry for your eaernings unless you see significan amount of channels specialized in copying your conent.
