I Love YTtalk
However, at any case, who will protect investors rights if they delete some valid views. We actually not trying to accuse YouTube company, we only trying to know the details of those audits reports in order to build the trust. Currently they are auditing and validating views but the investor does not know what is going on and what kind of evidences they make to judge fraudulent views ? i know this is might need to go deep into more technical evidences but customers need the transparency.
The transparency is out there if you're willing to search for it.
A video needs to be watched for around 30 seconds to count as a view.
If a video is reloaded from the same device (within 6-8 hours), only 1 view is counted.
If a video is embedded on an external website and set on autoplay, it does not count as a view.
Any views made by a bot or automated service do not count.
Lastly, nobody is forcing you to use YouTube or its services. If you do not trust them, you are free to use another video sharing service.
