Not Many Ways to Promote Your Video Costlessly, Are There?

The best thing is to let other youtubers promote your stuff.

Try and interract with others who doe the same stuff as you.

Well, as to going VIP...how much does it cost, again? On my spartan budget of just over $200 a month, well, the cost effectiveness would need to be mighty high. How much traffic did you get, you estimate, from it?

As to contacting other YouTubers, well, making a concerted campaign makes sense, but I was wondering how, specifically, to go about it, and I'd also seek to be systematic.

Oh, and on a side note, I got my first subscriber notification in my email, only to find out several days later that my channel hadn't listed any subscribers yet. What's up with that ,you think?

VIP is not real money. You earn $ by being active on the forums so you don't need to worry about your budget :)

YouTube is sometimes behind with updating views and subs. I can see that you have one subscriber. You also only receive an e-mail notification if the person who subs has their subscriptions public.

I'm just seeing movie/tv show clips on your channel - what are you trying to promote?

Oh, and Sinc...let others promote...? Fine. For my Robin Hood, it's a Keyboard Cat, runs under two minutes, and has a sardonic appeal. Therefore, who likes sardonic humor on the Web? Where do they meet? How do I find them?

If you all were me, what would be your solutions to my promotion dilemma? Just tryin' to pick brains...[DOUBLEPOST=1381273801,1381273560][/DOUBLEPOST]Well, Tipsy, obviously, my current quality isn't that hot, to say the least. That Robin Hood, if I dare say so, is something I'd get a kick out of on YouTube, and am hence pretty proud of it, and trying to promote it.

This is the 3rd or 4th thread you've started asking the same question about the very same video lol - The answers haven't changed since last time......

You can't just expect to upload a video and expect to be an overnight success. You have to create quality videos on a regular basis and build your audience step by step. YT is a marathon, not a sprint.

Maybe if you became more of an active member here and contributed a bit more other than just starting a weekly thread asking how to promote 1 video, you'd actually make some progress. Just a thought.
