No Youtube, I am not interested in your stupid top tier channels! Stop shoving them in my face! I watch *better* channels than the junk you are heavily promoting who have 3mil+ subs! Get bent. :furious:

I'd turn it off but then my own channel wouldn't show as recommended in DOOM related channels.

I still don't get that. Google AND YouTube specifically have ACRES of data related to what we watch and for how long. They can present viewers with the best matches for those interests. It's not that hard.

It's like going in for a wrench at the hardware store and being assaulted at the door with GIANT TRACTORS and CHAINSAWS and JACKHAMMERS and TOOL SHEDS. They have every employee standing there shouting at you about how popular they are and how everyone has them. Sure you can walk all the way to the back of the store and dig around under a bin of plungers to find your wrench, but it would be great if they just had a sign that pointed to the wrenches.

YouTube is very weird in general. Look at the comments section of a video, that's enough for me to tell..

Haha so true. I wish there was a option to disable that top tier channel box on the homepage!
 
I don't really like how strongly YouTube is pushing for the already successful channels. It's hard to find much of the smaller channels on the front page anymore.
 
i know exactly what you mean, its frustrating, the big channels are already there so why do they need the extra promotion, if anything it is smaller channels like me and many of the people on this thread that need the extra youtube promotion....
