Newer and still needs help!

As many others here have already said, 218 is really good, actually. We've been active for about 4 and a half months now and are sitting around 96 subs.

You're not gonna hit a million subs overnight- but if you can even get 200 every two months, you'll hit a thousand in under a year, and most channels would love to have that happen.

One thing that I noticed with you, and that our channel is working on as well- you can't expect all 218 or so viewers to watch all of your content, but most of your videos have well under 100 views (which, again, isn't necessarily bad at this stage). Some have well over 1,000, which is really good. Is there something tangible in those 1,000+ videos that you can for sure you did differently that may be able to try to adapt?

Good thumbnails, and good content. Time and luck are two big things that you need. The longer and harder you work the better it will go for you. Most channels that grow super fast also die super fast because they rely on fads and temporary conditions. Its better to grow slowly and remain stable then it is to shoot fast and not be able to hold on. Keep fighting the good fight!

Thank you! Are you saying I need good thumbnail and content? I think I need to get better content and maybe some effects?

That's true, I do feel like I have worked hard to get where I am at, but also want it to be fun and not feel like work :)

Mate,
Subs arent worth.. if you not getting views. I am trying to work out what exactly works out...
For toy channels there is hell lot of competition.
1) look for a great toy.
2) create a content that brings out more out of the toy. Unboxing is lame.. I experienced it.
3) Tags and Description help in If you put trending searches as keywords.
4) Shorter videos are good.. as if the video is not watched in full.. you will fall down in rank. Keep it short.
avg attn of ppl over something is 2.54 mins(read somewhere in this site)
5) Catch the attn in first few seconds.. that will make ppl glued of what exactly it can be.
6) Have a giveaway. Thats a great way to gather views.

I am not good too... but I gather some knowledge over last few days...
Hope this will help you...

OMG! That's amazing! I think to, the category that I am in is VERY competitive :/ But thats ok, we are having fun and learning new things everyday. Any advice? Are you promoting on other social sites?

Hi Stearmans!

Yes, I have an instagram and twitter for my channel. It all depends on the goals you have for your channel. If you are trying to turn your channel into a business, I would say having a strategy is important. Plan out your videos, advertise your channel, network with others in your category, interact with your viewers, and so on. Most importantly, have fun! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Good luck!
