hey, well first right off the bat, is you are going to need a logo and banner, most obvious part and something you were probably aware off. Another thing you also are probably aware of is thumbnails on the vids (all of those things can be achieved through photoshop). On the vids just make sure you upload videos which you believe are your highest quality! and be consistent, set a schedule or "routine" for your channel and have fun with it

Another thing is to not do sub4sub as it does nothing for video views and that's what Youtube looks for. Not subs, but views and likes/dislikes. Also tag your videos appropriately and do not put tags in your description as it can get you in trouble.

I agree with chrisdragon, however putting tags into the description is actually beneficial and does not violate any of YouTube's policies.
