Yeah gotta agree, I replayed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic recently, and it's pretty fantastic!

Lol, unfortunately true. It's funny how Indie games are returning to that old school flavor.

Old isn't bad, you just have to consider relevancy. For example, somebody reviewing DOS programs wouldn't get a following.

I would say that is more because DOS programs are redundant and not used anymore, people will always play retro games.

Yeah, so applying zis to the OPs idea: is HL2 + Mods relevant today?

For me it is coz I actually havent played it yet, bought it a while back and plan on playing it soon, I like to see LPs/reviews b4 I do, sometimes.

You'll have to find out it's still popular. For example Starcraft(1) came out in 1995 I think and before the sequel came out, people still played it and it was popular.
