New Razer Microphone

LegitHuman

I've Got It
Is it worth it or something? (It looks awesome)...or is it good just for the looks?

It turns out that I can't put links so just search "Razer Seiren"

Overpriced b******t.
Just like every Razer product.
$180 bucks for the mic and $230 for the bundle including the shock mount and the pop filter.
With $230 I can get a high quality microphone( AT2020/Yeti), a stand, a pop filter a shock mount, a mixer/compressor and I would still have some spare money.
It has a nice design but paying a premium just because it's Razer and it says that "it's for gamers", no. Even if I was swimming in gold.
Other than that, I highly recommend to NOT buy any Razer products when it comes to audio.
I bouhgt some ( Usually stuff that "fell of a truck" ) and they were not worth it at all.
When it comes to mice and keyboards, I have to say that their products are good.
Overpriced but good.

almost choked when I saw the price on this overpriced mic $229 GOOD LORD. Like Patrick said go with yeti or Audio technica, they are both good brands and usually you can pick up a good bundle like I did where I got a At2035 with xlr cable and pop filter for only $150 and I know for a fact that its built to last.
Edit: I actually looked up a few reviews on youtube with it and I really don't like it, it sounds so loud and scratchy on most people (there's only like 1-2 people I found that could manage to make it sound really clear)

Yeah I saw it on FB. It just looks like any ordinary mic with the razer logo slapped on the front. Wouldn't really get it personally but I'm sure it will sell well...

I'd wait for reviews on it. Once in a while Razer hits the nail on the head with a product, this might be that once in a while occasion.

I must hedge this on having not tried the mic.

The specs are EXACTLY the same as the Yeti Pro. And given the look and feel, proprietary shock mount and pop filter... I think they contracted Blue to make this. It's nothing more than a Yeti pro in a different case except you don't get the added benefit of both USB and XLR.

Keep that in mind should you wish to pick this mic up.
