New partners advantages?

ZaphodX

I Love YTtalk
Ok, so this new layout is coming now. My question is, what advantages to partners actually have any more?

Different ad services at a slightly higher overall rate.

Better search rankings. (Is this even true? Sources?)

Other than that I don't think you actually get any more advantages right?

As I`ve said before the network that just give the basics are going yo pase out, the ones that have the most features (Fullscreen, Vultra, Yeousch, CreatorX, YDL etc) are going to come up ahead of the game.
I`d even say Maker and its aggregators are going to take a turn for the worst.
but to answers your question the networks that only give basic features , No it`s not really worth it anymore,
The ones that do pile on the features, Yes I`d say it is.
And for gamers , Yes It`s is important to go to a Gaming Network (Make sure they actually have gaming licenses)

  • Royalty-free music libraries
  • Better support than YouTube
  • Access to member-only forums
  • Some networks, like Fullscreen and Vultra, have great promotion programs and can get you more exposure.
  • Protection from AdSense being disabled due to 3rd partiy nonsense
  • Better protection from copyright claims
:p

Personally I got with my network so I could...
1) Claim my videos and make money off every video (I have gaming videos so without a network I can't monetize anything)
2) huge Royalty free music library
3) really good support
4) youtube shows

so really.. the new layout is still going to give all of these things.. but a lot of people do it mainly for the banner.. so yer.. :')

It seems to me that having better support than YouTube is about the best feature.
Music libraries are interesting but they you're hooked into staying with the Network.
Adsense protection something to consider as well.

If you have a large channel (at least 100k subs and a rabid fanbase), your chances of selling space for a pre-roll ad direct from a company goes up if you are with a network (you will have to fork over a percentage to your network) and there's always a possibility of a network investing money in your channel. You may also get tickets to conventions like VidCon if you put in a few hours of time at their booth.

Cheers for forwarding me this thread @ZaphodX.

As I mentioned in my thread, this is going to destroy me...I own a small network ( SANECT ) that I literally just started up and I feel like Youtube literally turned around and covered me in petrol and sort of just left me there surrounded by candles.

One more day until the changes start rolling out, I presume.
Yes, for those smaller networks who basically only provide
banner and background services, the changes are very
likely to impact your business once people find out that
banners will be available to everybody.

The smaller guys shouldn't fold like a tent. Offer something innovative, something unique. Flip the game. You are perfectly positioned to move quickly with something new. :)

Yeah I am hopping "I have got this", so to speak. I provide up to 80% payout rates + Website/Forum/Graphics/Management all for free to our selected quality partners. Something most Networks do not provide.
