There is nothing stopping you from getting ready for it.
Create your new banner etc - thats the mor eimportant part. I have mine ready so all I have to do is upload it when the new layout comes.

As a secondary 'objective' you can get your trailer for non-subscribers created as well.
Havent started on mine just yet though! Need to find time!

I'm all ready for it and I check the page once a day not really bothered about when I get it... but I would like to use my banner as it has the colours I'm trying to push across my channel on it and I don't really want to change my background :')

Yeah, I think bigger channels are getting it first and then by March we'll all have the option... but it depends on when YouTube gets their butt in gear.
