New Channel Hoping for Feedback

Hello everyone!

I myself am not new to YouTube as I have been watching YouTube videos ever since 2010. Since 2011 however I have had a dream to start my own YouTube Channel, with past limitations such as a crap computer and no knowledge of anything video I kind of held back my dream. Now however I am ready to start everything I have ever wanted to do!

I have started a YouTube gaming channel and have posted 13 videos, which by what my friends say are "of great quality".

I would love more feedback from people and just all around for people to go check out what I have to show and see if they enjoy it or not.

Or just look me up on YouTube with "Floppy Goose"

Thank you for your time!

HD videos which is good. Vocal audio is pretty good no real problems. I feel that if you want to add an intro to your videos it needs to be more than just your brand appearing - needs to be more personalize and really hit home your channel. Also the images you use look a tad pixelated on bigger screens so use a bigger image source to fix that. I like the simple design of your banner but I think you should add a slogan, a schedule and few more subtle images into the banner. People like schedules so will increase chance of subscription.
In my videos I used an endplate which includes call for action text (like, subscribe), social media handles as well as snapshots of previous videos for other viewers to click and watch. You should do this too to add more views as well as keep a viewer on your content longer. Perhaps hire a animator to do some cool templates for intro and outro for a small fee?

A review of mine in return would be handy :) I'm MusicForTheDay and I run a daily show that highlights a variety of quality free royalty-free music for project/video content creators like yourself! :P So have a look and you may find some handy pieces. Any license information for music usage is included in the videos' descriptions. Hopefully you like the format and my unique 3D audio spectrum for viewer experience ;P Thanks!

Thank you MusicForTheDay, I really appreciated your review!

The pixelated images in the videos have been fixed and are no longer an issue. I have my friend who is a very talented artist helping me out with my new logo and channel banner which should be coming by the end of this week. I have thought about a schedule which will also be promoted in the banner as well as my slogan. Once the logo is done then I can also start working on an outro card to have at the end of each video. Finally about the intro, I am not really a fan of those 5 - 15 second introductions some people have on their channels as it only makes me want to skip it at the beginning of each video. Once my logo is complete I will try to include it in the intro to last no longer than 2 seconds as I much rather like the intro to be short and snappy so the viewer can get right into the action and meat of the video itself. If you don't know what I'm talking about then check out any of Nerd Cubed's videos, that's the sort of intro I like.

All in all I would like to thank you for the fact that you took time out of your day to feedback on my channel, I really appreciate that! Here's a little overview of what I think about your channel :)

I definitely like that your library of music is split up in different playlists, makes it a lot easier to find songs of certain genre. The high quality audio is definitely also a plus, I also really like that you have a wide range of creators in your library. I am usually limited to Kevin MacLeod Incompetech.com as that is the only real royalty free website that has professional music. Your banner design although cluttered in the background is very simple and not too crowded with information, the fact that you post every day means the library of music will grow very quickly. Sorry if I didn't have any constructive criticism, for what it's meant to be your channel is quite well situated around the idea of easy to access royalty free music.

Thank you again for the feedback, hope I praised you enough to make you feel good about yourself :D

I remain Floppy Goose
