Networks?

But you can't monetise games, that's against the law and they could take your channel down when doing that.
You need the rights for each individual game to monetise it.
Putting commentary over it does not make it legal.

Hardly any networks actually have gaming licenses and commentated gaming videos normally fall under fair use.[DOUBLEPOST=1365798197,1365798066][/DOUBLEPOST]If every network offered the same % the payments would still all be different as some networks will get you higher CPM's than others which is one of the main factors, also things like partner support, instant monetization on videos, library's of music, some have gaming licenses (very few ever show proof of this), if you get a lot of views per day some will create you a website, a referrals program etc. the list goes on and it varies from network to network.

Thank you that exactly what I wanted to hear!
I think to start a network yourself you need to have a certain threshold of daily views, then you can start the process.
That's my new goal!!

You do realise that the idea of most gaming networks having special licences for games is total bullcrap and spread by rumours, yes?

I can prove it easily. Go to TGN - the game network. Read their FAQ. It expressly states they have NO special licences.
