Negative Comments- How do you Deal with them?

With this kind of commentaries, I would just make a joke in the comment section and mention this as a disclaimer at starting of next video. :giggle:

I don't get a whole lot of negative comments (knock on wood!) but when I do, honestly I just reply back like I would any other comment, in the nicest way possible. Honestly, I love the motto "kill them with kindness!" People who post negative comments feed off of hate, so when you reply back with more negativity, it just keeps them going. That isn't to say, though, that sarcasm can't be used haha. I am a big fan of sarcasm and using it to reply in a nice way, while being slightly snarky back to people who are just down right rude. If the comment is inappropriate in any way, like the time I had a guy commenting that I should let my dog lick peanut butter off of my face in every video, I just delete the comment and block them from my channel if they continue to be an issue.

I get them all the time. A lot of them are from older siblings or parents upset that their kid got scared watching one of my videos. Normally I reply with dismissive one-liners, especially when they posted a whole angry parasentence (a word I just made up for people who write a whole paragraph without any punctuation). If they reply to that, then usually I give them a decent response explaining that I didn't make the video for their scared kids; I made it for people who find it funny. And I'm sorry their kid got scared, but any kid is going to eventually find something they shouldn't see on the internet regardless of what they searched for.

If they are just some teenager calling me dumb or my video dumb, I just try to get them to show their friends and family how dumb my videos are. In the case of the inappropriate words comment, I'd probably reply for them to try covering their ears when watching it.

I never delete any comments, even ones where they just posted a whole line of random characters. I even approve of them from spam.

I got one dude who is rude to me yesterday, I try to be as sarcastic as I can!

LOL that tupac dig got him running.

i get some negative comments, but nothing seriously bad.
most are constructive criticism, and though sometimes people can be quite blunt with their criticism, I definitely see where they're coming from.

here's a few:

1st one - just a laugh
2nd - constructive criticism
3rd - pretty pointless xD

I get popcorn and enjoy the sight. Just kidding. I don't get any hate comments, since dogs aren't welcomed on my channel.

I try to always be nice, that's what my channel is about and they don't expect people to stay nice when they are being an ***, gets them off their game.

This is on a video about making something out of cardboard for your cat.

My advice: don't let it get to you, count to 10, and then reply :)[DOUBLEPOST=1453559196,1453558892][/DOUBLEPOST]
I like this advice, I try not to engage in negativity for my own positive mental well-being.
I agree on this, but I like to block their negativity by being positive in return :p It completely ruins what they were trying to achieve :) Plus I like the message I send to other people reading it, since in real life you can't just delete these people.
