I recently become an admin on a gaming forum and we have a gaming youtube channel. The channel has 25 subscribers and hasn't had videos in forever and even then there was not many videos to begin with that are unique, there are some trailers, videos bout the forum logo, and some shooting game videos. I am the one who will be uploading videos to it to try to get traffic back, however I am not into shooting games at all.

What I'm wondering is how do you guys think I should go about trying to keep the current subscribers and grow even more? I don't want to go posting trailers unless its ones I make for games I have reviewed in the forum itself. I really want to make things grow on youtube but I've never really figured out how to begin with with my own fail gaming channel. Any advice is greatly appreciated I'm so lost when it comes to making a successful youtube channel that isn't doctor who related lol.

Well you just have to upload more frequently. Along with the games you love to play. You just have to be confident and create really great quality videos. Also remember to be active with your subscribers and they will be more than willing to stay :).

Active with subscribers? You mean replying to comments right? I'll try to be confident, that is a bit of a problem with me usually but I'll definitely try thank you.

If there hasn't been videos in a long time and there weren't many anyway, I wouldn't worry a great deal about the existing base. Make videos the people on the forum would like and you'll attract more people who like the same things!
