Need some advice

Hey guys. It's been quite awhile since I've been on the youtube scene. Naturally, I see some amazing upcoming video editors, more specifically, intros. I have come across videos with an intro that's more insane than their entire video as harsh as that sounds lol! Anyways even when I was on the YouTube scene, I always wondered how? No video could really get me the info I was looking for besides some that were about... 30+ minutes long? So, the undying question for me is, how would I go about even attempting how to begin working on some professional looking intros? I'm pretty decent at editing videos, manipulating but my intro is what always sucked because I guess I'm no good in photoshop and after effects and If those are the things I need to learn to excel in, then so be it. Any and all advice is welcome, thanks guys and girls

You should go back and hone that craft. There are a ton of tutorials on how to make intros, and utilize certain programs to aid you in your editing, and such. This advice is really if you want to do it yourself, that's all there is to it. However, if you want to be like most people, go grab a free template of an intro you like, tweak it slightly to your liking, add your logo/name, and then you'll be set (usually how most get theirs). I don't claim to be great at it, but I made my own, and it's sleek, and minimalistic; how I like it.

Thanks and yeah I've been looking ever since I posted. For the time being I've grabbed many templates i'm going to juggle them around and see what I come up with. I totally want to know a pro in the field and pick their brain though

When I decided to start a youtube channel, I had no single clue about video editing (it's not like I have it now haha) so I decided to start seeing tutorials about edition in general. There's a lot of good content related to this out there, and it's a shame cause most of them don't recieve the attention they deserve. There's a few channels that accept requests about different effects if there is something you want to learn to do but don't know how.
Go and check, you'll find something for sure.
