Need Help With A Dilemma

As most of you know my channel is a bit of everything, literally everything I can think of. Most content i do videos on regularly is split into playlists so it can be easily found aka a gaming playlist, app review playlist etc.

I always planned on having seperate channels for seperate things one day when i get bigger, for example a gaming channel, vlogging channel etc.

Do you think I should do this now or just keep my channel as it is until i get bigger?

I am just 1. worried about having to reupload everything onto another channel and losing all my views, and the money i made (my sworkit app review made over 10 pounds, not a lot but i obviously don't want to lose that!) I do a lot of app reviews so i was thinking of doing another seperate channel for things like unboxings, product reviews and maybe hauls?

2. I am worried about the stress of running more then one youtube channel, as one is definetly going to suffer especially my main channel as I won't have as many ideas to upload as the ones i do the most will be going on seperate channels now, also i am about to start my final year of uni, so i don't want more extra stress of running more youtube channels

3. I don't want to lose all my subscribers!

But I could get a better audience and more views, as this was suggested as this may be my problem as people subscribe to me for certain kinds of videos which i don't always upload every week, and thats why i grow so slowly and don't get many views which makes perfect sense

I may do a video on this asking my subscribers advice as obviously they are the most important thing about my channel, but do you guys think i should wait until i get a bit bigger or start doing that now?

Obviously I love doing videos on absolutely anything, and the amount of subs i have motivates me to do them, but this would probably attract more views i really don't know what to do haha!

Also like I said my main channel with all the subs will probably become pretty inactive due to lack of my most popular videos I like to make

Any opinions would be great as I want your thoughts as well as my subs thanks! :)

PS: This feedback will be especially useful from those who subscribed to me from here!

I think it would take too much time and effort to have 3 separate channels to run, especially if you're not doing YouTube full time. If you start doing YouTube full time, then by all means go for it. But in the end, it's all about what you want to do. For me, personally, though, I would say don't split channels.

thats what im thinking, it could help me grow faster overall in the end and i could end up getting loads of subs on at least one of the channels, but it may not and if i do a video on a channel with 0 subs i won't be really as motivated, i would LOVE to make youtube a full time job, but that probably isn't going to happen for a long time if ever, and with uni it may just be easier to carry on with what i am doing, but feeling like my content is too varied for me to grow is a worrying thought, but i am still gaining subs if slowly so i can't be doing a terrible job

i would keep it all in one channel for now. a decent amount of content encourages people to subscribe because they know your active. even when you do decide to eventually create a new channel. i would only do one extra channel. 3 channels not full time is kinda crazy

i do technically have another channel but its just for showcasing uni work, so it's not really any effort or stress i just upload things i make once i get the grade so like maybe a couple of times a year haha, in a way im really glad you have all said that as a part of me really doesn't want to deal with that extra stress when i'm still so small, but obviously peoples opinions are important to me and it was something i was considering doing anyway in the future. I have way too big of an attachment with my main channel right now, and i won't necessarily grow faster on the other channels anyway or attract more traffic to my current channel and like i said it makes me less motivated starting all over again with 0 subs, but more opinions are definetly welcome! :)

funnily enough, i am about to start my second channel, my videos are 90% gaming, but ocasionally i will make something totally random like a EU referendum rant video. or a video of me walking my dogs and they really stand out. i think the trick is, and you can see this if you look at a ton of big youtubers with 2 channels is that you have your main one you focus on. the second one can chug a long in the background for a while with the odd video. that way it won't take focus away from your main channel
