Request Need Help Recreating this Intro

Hello,
so I tried it myself for a few hours but it didn't work out that well.
The intro I tried to recreate was this:
/watch?v=N31OTLUGW-M

I was able to make these asteroids moving in the background and the smoke.
My problem is I don't know how to make these green light effects. Was able to make a simple layer and
multiply it but the video has more, including the waves, explosion, light.

Someone able to help me out?

Well first off do you have After Effects and Cinema 4d? You will need to incorporate the two if you want to recreate it.

Secondly visit YouTube, type Genesis 2 C4D Intro Template and download the files, inside the files has that effect premade but in red.
All you do is change to color, switch to green and you have it exact same. It looks like it was ripped from that file.

I have After Effects and a few plugins like Trapcode Suite, Element 3D, and Twitch. And I don't have Cinema 4D.
Probably getting a free trial version of it then. Thank you.
