Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but at college we use iMac's for logging and capturing videos off the college cameras which is great because it works with Macs and all that (it exports to .MOV files) but the second I try and use these .MOV files on my pc I can't because I dont have the "Codec" (I have quicktime installed) any it's really annoying me because I have to do a lot of editing and I can't do any of it at home!
So I guess my question is.. is there any way to fix this problem? even when I just open the files in quicktime to watch them I only get Audio!
P.S. I can use .MOV files created on my PC (like exported files from After Effects), We use FCP7 at college to log and capture videos if that makes any difference..
