Growing on youtube is ALL about networking. More followers and friends = more views.

A LOT of the work that goes into making a channel successful is simply talking to others, and also being interested in what they are doing in youtube, instead of just self promoting. So places like here are great Hubs to build up your connections.

I'd argue that a lot of Markiplier's recent success branched off his connection Yamimash. And now I feel like Markiplier's influence will come full circle and help out Yamimash.
