Monetizing not available?

Hey,

Just a quick question, I can't enable "monetizing" on my YouTube channel because I'm coming from a country (Slovenia) where monetizing isn't available (yet). My question is, can I still get partnered with Machinima (or any other gaming network basically) and get money off it without having the "monetizing" turned off?

I hope you get what I'm trying to ask here haha.

Thanks.

Networks are only able to claim channels in countries where the Partnership Program are available. Also, what is the point of getting partnered if you can't monetize your videos?

Well ... I heard that people who can't monetize off of YT can still get partnered with a network and get paid ...

Yes, you will fine when going with an MCN although Machinima is one I would not recommend!

Okay, thanks! Machinima was just an example, I wouldn't go with it anyway. :)

You will make close to no money, and you will have a crazy low CPM sadly. That said, you can partner with a network if you still wish to.

Okay, what if I, let's say, moved to Germany, where partnership is available? Would it make any diference, would I get a higher CPM?

Or, for example if I used a VPN to change my IP for every upload I make? Would I be able to activate the monetization? Or would YouTube detect it?

Just curious, I'm probably not gonna do either of those lol
