I Love YTtalk
So today I got the final pieces for my microphone setup, including my pop filter and USB extension cable meaning I'm able to actually use my new stand completely. Here's what it looks like when it's "set up".
I've got a few adjustments and stuff I'm going to make to feel completely comfortable with it, but right now I'm just excited that I've got all the equipment for this ;D What do you guys think of this?
Equipment List -
Microphone: Audio Technica ATR2500
Stand: Selby Desktop Stand
Pop Filter: _____ Flexible Studio Microphone Filter

Was pretty cheap, plus it's made of metal so it's fairly sturdy. Only problem is the base itself, it has 3 rubber support "nubs" I guess that keep the metal from scratching the surface, but because of that it has 3 ways to fall over! Haha. I'm currently trying out some different DIY methods to stop this from happening, most successful one is a few layers of cardboard under the front 2 edges where the microphone is positioned. That seems to stop it.
