"Matched third party content"

Hello everyone, I have a question for you. I am a very serious YouTuber (Gaming Channel) and I am trying to make sure I understand things.

I have a few videos with "matched third party content". What should I do. I do not want to run the risk of having strikes, as this will take away my ability to be a partner and or join gaming networks. So what I want to know is do I need to delete those videos, or can I keep them without monetizing them?

This is very important to me because I don't want any legal trouble. Thanks!

A content ID match could eventually lead to a copyright claim depending on what is "matched". You were kinda not clear on what the vids are or what was likely to be the cause of a "match". Generally, if you don't have verifiable permission to use copyrighted material like songs, video clips, photos, art images, soundtracks, etc., you could receive a strike for copyright violation if you don't remove material when YT warns you to remove it. If you have not been warned, you will not receive a strike. The best thing to do is, only upload content that you own, or that falls into public domain, or that is "fair use". Be careful not to monetize anything that is not 100% copyright free.

Oh my apologies. It is all music related from in-game music. I am nervous as I don't want to lose my page, but I also don't want to over-react. Thanks so much for the help guys!!

Your best bet is to follow the guidelines that the gamers I know follow. They will mute the sound of the game, and talk about whatever is on their mind so that they can stay within the copyright TOS of YouTube. From what I understand, as long as you are giving a running commentary, the video portion of the game is "fair use". I'm not an expert, so don't just take my word for it. Find out for sure. I don't want to be the one who ends up costing you a partnership!
