'Managed' channel and 'Affiliated' channel.

This is absolutely wrong. I don't know where you pulled that from, but that is not even close....

As shane said. It is more of a monetization thing. Plus, managed is NOT better.
Why would you think instant monetization is not better

Why? Because managed is a "CMS Family" if you will, and if one channel screws up... everyone in the network is punished.

Affiliate is not that bad, if you look into it.

Managed status gives you instant monetization.
You are also liable to any MCN related sanctions which include loss of custom thumbnails and livestreaming should the MCN receive 15 strikes in a 3 month period, or uploading new videos if 20 strikes in the 3 month period.

Affiliate is subject to the new Adsense Review. If YouTube doesn't pooch it, there will be a trust componant which will cause your videos to be reviewed less frequently or not at all if you consistently get approved anyways. (It's worth noting that YouTube doesn't make any money on ummonetized videos, so it's in their best interests to have it done ASAP)
You benefit from any content licenses that YouTube signed. At present there is a cover song license that is being implemented which would allow channels to share revenue with the content owner instead of having 100% sapped like what happens currently under ContentID.

It is flat out dangerous to be with a MCN that has hundreds of managed partners. If managed status is part of the public sales pitch, I wouldn't go near it with someone elses 10 foot pole.

Hey Guys what that mean

"'MCN receive 15 strikes in a 3 month period, or uploading new videos if 20 strikes in the 3 month period and you loss of custom thumbnails and livestreaming"'

Question is
Why MCN Receive strike and Why channel Owner receive strike

And

What that mean Strike "Copyright strike:eeks:" or "Content ID Third party match Claim:mad:"

thank Q;)

A strike (community or copyright) is an official punishment from YouTube given to a channel for breaking the rules. Third Party Content Match is not a punishment, it's just a flag stating that this content belongs to someone else. The content match can become a strike if the owner files a takedown notice.

As to why the channel gets a strike if the MCN does, this is only for managed channels. And it's because Managed status was intended from the start to be only channels owned by the MCN. As a result, if any of their owned channels got strikes, the network had a punishment for it. MCN's are now listing regular channels as managed but YouTube doesn't care that they're not owned by the MCN, they still get lumped in with the same punishment.
