Making Props

I need your guys help, I'm looking to make some props for a video I hope to make next week, but I don't know how to make props. What I need to make are: something that will clip onto my nose, something that looks like an earphone, but without wire, and other one is a secret but what I'm wondering is what materials and tools I'll need to make professional looking props. All help appreciated!

But styrafoam can work wonders when painted.

You can get Styrofoam that is made for plants at any nursery. It is easily shaped, but you have to be careful, because it is also easily damaged. You might consider papier mache. It is easy to make, lightweight, and inexpensive. It is also easily shaped into things and painted to look real.
