It works for some...others prefer a fruit basket xD But in all seriousness the best bet is to build up some videos then go chatting in videos that interest you to people and build up a bit of a reputation then people might check you out and if they do your halfway there it also helps to leave open questions in the comments of your videos like: "What did you think of this...?" "Have you tried this before?..." "do you have any reccommendations?" that normally brings people out

Heh, I have difficulty of making friends in real life...But's that what's being introverted is like. If it comes to friends on YT , all I can say is- Be active on forums (be it reddit ,or here) be active on your channel, and talk to people that comment on your videos, leave relevant comments on other people channels, and maybe you'll get to know somebody. But what do I know...

I've met a lot of good friends through this forum, but there's definitely been a lot of collaborations that didn't work out! Personally, I never liked the people who were all about business. It takes the fun out of it, and makes it difficult to build a friendship.

i find that too, its been frustrating trying to find people to play with for collabs coz they are all business instead of just having fun with it[DOUBLEPOST=1511370893,1511370777][/DOUBLEPOST]

You can make friends on this forum, if you get involved in threads and try talking to other people maybe you might end up being friends with another YouTuber. That’s one of the main reasons I decided to join this forum so I could meet other YouTubers like me.

well I am always up for a chat haha. I feel I met my fave youtuber buddies here so you are correct
