I do all my own graphics!
I feel weird for asking this since a lot of the members here seem to be male but as a female, is it sort of expected to put on makeup for a video that will have your face on it?

Hmmm for my face cam I don't wear any make up. I don't wear it because it isn't who I am I don't like make up and I don't even wear it in every day to day life. I just don't feel comfortable with it on. I think majority of females wear make up for their face cams but I don't think you'd have to ^_^ Just my opinion though

I mostly wear make up, but not over the top. Just enough to stop any unnecessary shine and to feel like I've made some kind of effort! You can barely tell I'm wearing any in most videos!

I love makeup but I do it for fun, it wouldn't be something I do for a video. I am very minimalistic so I can get away with that, maybe, haha. You know, just to say, "Yay... That's good to know!! ... I guess I watch a lot of girls on Youtube and they are always club-ready. Man... I wouldn't mind that if I'm actually going clubbing but... for a Youtube video; it seems over-the-top.

They probably do it because of how horribly judgmental and nasty people are. I don't really blame them but you've got a pretty face anyway, you don't need to club up!

I guess I'll just stick to my normal regime... I don't know why I even asked such a silly question. I've never put my face up on a video so I suppose I have no idea whether there were any standards about it.

hey if it is something you like to do then go for it! I just think as long as YOU'RE happy with how you look and feel then it's fine/worth it. I think a lot do just go for the minimalist look which isn't a bad thing . <3
