I've been a big user of the Magic Lantern software for my T2i as well, but I use it mostly for the photography additions. I like that I gain more control on ISO and shutter speeds, I can overlay my own cropmarks while shooting photos or video. I also like the ability to preview timelapse and HDR shots inside my camera, or even preview how my fisheye photos look when they are 'de-fished'. And there is more stuff that I like, sometimes I need to make long video shots, longer than the 4GB file size limit, so I can turn down the bitrate of the video to get a longer recording time (will downgrade the quality a bit) or turn on the setting that automatically starts a new recording when the file limit is reached. The last thing I use a lot is the better white balance settings and the build-in intervalometer to shoot timelapses.
