Magic Bullet Looks Problem

Hi there, so I recently got magic bullet looks for adobe premiere pro cs6, but I have a huge and extremely annoying problem. When I apply the effect and click edit, the window for changing it and stuff comes up, but the frame you were on is supposed to be in the middle for a preview, but instead I get a black screen.

Can anyone help me out with this? It's super annoying and i'm quite disappointed.
