Losing Subscribers :(

Hi guys, since i started my channel the amount of subs has been (very) slowly growing, however, for the last few weeks i've been going through what i call-a dry patch. The subs have stopped and actually have started going backwards, and the views seem to be getting less. I haven't changed anything and i'm pretty sure the video quality is similar. Whats going on?

From my very little experience it seems like everything comes and goes in waves. Keep an eye on your analytics, see if there's anything specific that's putting people off but otherwise just solider on and don't let it get too you. Remain consistent, keep the quality high and keep pushing forward!

Same thing is happening to me and a couple other people I know. It might be something that happens this time of year.

Well, you don't upload a lot, so people that might have liked your other videos and subscribed might have moved on to watching different channels.
I understand what your saying but shouldn't it not affect anything If I'm uploading consistently?[DOUBLEPOST=1427586540,1427586381][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thanks for the advice :)

It kind of depends how consistently. When I subscribe to people, I tend to be looking for a source of entertainment. If they don't upload a lot, I look for someone who does the same thing, but uploads more. And it's also harder to get to know a youtuber when they don't upload a lot; you don't get to see a lot of their content and you don't get to comment on their videos as often.

Hey man :D Keep uploading on a consistent basis! Give your viewers an upload schedule.
Also, don't be discouraged if you lose subs! The ones that leave will be quickly replaced. Subscribers come in waves. :) I'll be dry for a week and then gain 30 out of no where. That's just how YouTube works. :)
Don't be discouraged!!

Just keep going man. I know its discouraging to see the number fall but just keep doing what you are doing and work on bettering your channel. The people will come. We have had dry patches as well

You win some and you loose some. I usually add a subscriber a day or so, but there are times I go backwards. That is, if I am lucky enough to notice. Right now I have been looking at my stats a bit closer, getting close to the milestone of 1000 subscribers makes one do that. But usually I just reply to comments and post my videos and pay very little mind to my subscriber and view count.
