Losing subs :(

Is it really 'at the moment'? You should use your YT analytics to check a one month period 6 months ago compared to this past month to see if you are really losing more (a higher percentage of) subs now than you were then.
i don't know how to find that :/[DOUBLEPOST=1437946866,1437946805][/DOUBLEPOST]
YouTube does remove inactive accounts, so it could be that. It seems they have periods where they remove a massive load of inactive accounts and therefore your subscriber count can be affected. Saying that, subscribers fluctuate for everyone - even the big people, you just don't notice it on them.

You seem to be doing really well so far on your channel though, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. You have 13,200 subscribers (checking just now) and so I can't imagine they're all going anywhere anytime soon. Onwards and upwards!

Just keep doing what you're enjoying and the subscribers will soon follow along too. :)
yeah I guess so, you are right I just need to focus on the positives.

Thank you :)[DOUBLEPOST=1437946974][/DOUBLEPOST]
Nope. All negative two of my subscribers still aren't there, so I cant really relate, i'm afraid.

But maybe theres a reason why - have you changed anything about your channel lately? Maybe switched up your upload schedule or something?
I love your profile pic :) I uploaded only once a week last 2 weeks compared to my normal 2.

It's a very common Youtube thing when you received a bunch of subs that you will lose some. Its annoying i know but that's how Youtube works i guess.

i don't know how to find that :/
  • Upper right hand corner, click your icon and click Creator studio, then on the left hand side will be a bunch of sections.
  • Click 'analytics'.
  • That will open more options. Click 'Subscribers'. By default it will probably show you the past 28 days. It will show you how many subs you've gained vs how many lost and your total net subs either gained or lost.
Toward the top right hand corner of that section you will see the date range that says "Last 28 days" or something similar. That dropdown has a bunch of preset dates you can look at. E.G. Last 7 days, last month, this month, etc. These allow you to easily look at your analytics for various preset times...last month...last week...this week etc. Just to the right of that dropdown is a little icon. If you click that icon you will be given two calendars you can set a 'from' date and a 'to' date. You can set those dates to whichever dates you want and then look at your subs gained and subs lost. You can also use this to compare views, revenue, etc for two time periods. An even quicker way is to use the 'Comparison' button which will open up two sets of calendars so you can put in two date ranges and compare the two at the same time on a graph. That button is located just to the top and left of that preset dropdown I referred to earlier. Here are screenshots from both before and after pressing that compare button:

There are a ton of things you can compare...you can compare video views, earnings, and many other metrics. You can even narrow it down by video to see which videos drive the most subs.

Let me know if you have any trouble.

wow thats really helpful, thank you I get quite confused looking at analytics and didn't know how to look at it this way! Thanks :)

I have been floating one up and one down. It doesn't really matter, as long I create good videos. Recently my channel was reset so I am not worried at this moment.

Been there done that. I notice at times, but I am not too bothered about it. I do what I love, and those that leave aren't the subscribers I am looking for anyway.
