Losing Drive To Do Youtube

Youtube is a grind as you can tell. It takes that one unique video you post to go viral, that's how everyone does it now a days. I do not have kids, but I do work 30 hours a week and being a full time student. I try my best to find some time to make a video. I personally enjoy being behind the mic, idc whose watching if there are any people at all. It's all about the passion which it seems like you have it for being on here so long. Take a break, spend time with your kids and think of cool new ideas to post! That might help? Just stick with it! Don't quit!
 
Happens to me, too. I just kind of realize that what I really want to do is act, I've always wanted that and youtube isn't quite it, you know. I recently saw one day of shooting of my favourite and also my country's one of the most popular comedy tv shows and holy crap was I hooked even more after that and am currently keeping an eye on acting offers instead of youtube. What an experience to physically be on the set and see the actors you like do their thing. All I could think was "I want to do this" the entire time so youtube's lost its shine for now.

Lol thanks. Yeah unfortunately, I haven't touched music in a while either :/ I don't plan to give it up...I just haven't had...much...inspiration, and I'm SO busy with the kids.[DOUBLEPOST=1411822866,1411822717][/DOUBLEPOST]

Whenever i'm starting to lose motivation to do youtube i step back and realize that i'm losing motivation to do a lot of other things as well. Which means that it's not really a problem i have with youtube, it's something else i have to fix in my life that will give me more motivation in general, hope this helps

Thanks :) Funny thing though, I've had tons of motivation to do a few graphics, and clean the house and all that.... :/

yeah i do the same pretty often, don't be discouraged just always be making decisions to keep moving forward in a positive direction, you'll be fine :) keep doin what you love!
 
Maybe all you need to do is set goals. Having something to work towards is something that motivates me. But then again, I am rather erratic when it comes to uploads because I only make a video when I have the time.

Either way, I hope that you get your drive back. There are times when people need a break, but I believe in you! The drive will come back eventually, you just need to find something to get you pumped.[DOUBLEPOST=1411914261,1411914212][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah :/ Thank you! I hope so. I know. I just need to do it. Just...don't...........know...when..............it's ..going..................to happen :/
 
I'm having an issue filming anything new with Brutal Doom because I don't play the mod out of the zipfile, I edit out the stupid crap I don't like to make the game fairer and less likely to be killed by something stupid (pouncing Imp, zombieman's 3 shot attack, etc).

Other than that, I did have more motivation to record with my own mod from assets from Brutal Doom and other resources. However, the last time I did record anything was in early July. :unsure2:
