looking for some advice

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to the YTtalk forums so I'll start by saying I'm Tkmajestic and I have a gaming channel.

So I'm looking for a little bit of advice and welcome any input.

My problem is like probably thousands of others, that my channel, videos and content just don't seem to be getting noticed. I know it's difficult getting noticed especially with a gaming channel and as there's a fair few big gaming channels out there that pull in the viewers. I don't want to be the next pewdiepie with over 20 million subscribers haha I don't think I could stand the pressure in all honesty, but for the work I put, all the recording, editing until 2am 3am 4am in the morning as well as having a full time job , it would be really nice to see just a little bit more of attention.

I do this for fun, but just because it's for fun doesn't mean I lack on the effort side, I put my all into my content. I love the social aspect, making new friends with people who watch my stuff feels lovely.

But this is where my problem lies, in order to get noticed I've heard people say post your stuff on Facebook, Twitter, through social media etc tell your friends to tell there friends etc but I don't use any social media as I've had bad experiences in the past which led me to be ill and my friends aren't really supportive.

I do post on reddit but I don't think a single one of my posts have been seen.

So I'd love to know of any other ways of getting noticed? Anywhere I could post my content? Just anything to broaden my horizons I guess.

Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Thanks,
Tk

This forum is an amazing place to post your content and get advice just by starting this post people will check out your Youtube page and maybe even become a viewew/Subscriber, and when you have enough points you can post your videos in the video section.

I try to post to G+ i seem to get a lot of feedback from G+ and they follow much quicker that Facebook and twitter

I definitely don't have the answer.....I'm not a gamer, and my channel is really small. The only thing I can tell you, is to bring something unique to the table that nobody else does. Make your videos stand out, and interesting. Keep up the hard work if it's something you really enjoy doing and eventually it may pay off.
I'm going to move this thread to the Strategies & Technique Advice section of the forum for you :)

I'm new here as well, and I have to say that your post sounds a lot like myself aswell. Perhaps joining with other new members for some one off videos will help spread the word to smaller groups of people who normally watch other things? Its another way of getting out there. So I'd say why not :)

Aye :) We'd have to talk on my profile wall, as I'm new on YTtalk and can't start/reply to convo's yet.
