Livestreaming rather than Videos?

The FawX is on the Hunt
So after moving onto doing some more livestreaming rather than recording and editing videos I find that I have been gaining more subscribers and traffic through livestreaming rather than upload videos.

Have any of you guys gave streaming a go or are thinking about it>? So far I think it was a great move to start streaming and I am really enjoying it :D.

So far as a general rule I have been reluctant to livestream on youtube. Partly because I don't think this is where youtubes strengths are. But also because I don't want all my eggs in the youtube basket so have spread over to twitch for livestreaming but its great to hear your finding it works well for you :)

This is interesting. I remember a while back i would occasionally see streams on my front page of someone playing a game I play and they were a pretty small channel only with a few live views yet still was put on my home page. Maybe it is true, I have no experience in streaming but from what I have seen when it comes to youtube and twitch, it appears at the moment youtube might be slightly better for a small channel that would probably be at the very bottom end of the scroll chain of multiple ''1 viewer'' twitch channels of the specific game. But I could be wrong.

LIve streaming is the future. More and more platforms are going live. figuring out where your home base of live stream is going to be at

I think about it all the time! It's definitely something I want to do, but I'm just so nervous about it lol... I do see other channels grow from it though, and if it's working for ya, it's proof it does help gain subs.

Livestreaming is good for gaining fast views and subscribers but in the long run it can backfire. I used to livestream on my main channel and gained several thousand subscribers over a period of 3 months, but now I stream rarely only on my second channel, cause I don't want to diverse my main channel topics. I used to get messages when is the next stream, when I will get online and play, people waiting, joining my online gameplay etc.., but once a livestream is over it hardly gets any additional views. While on the other hand a good recorded and edited video can receive views and likes months or even years after it is uploaded (yes I have such videos).

I've live-streamed off youtube in the past and honestly, it was pretty fun! I did it when I had like 15 subscribers and i had a few people in my chat that I was talking to! I'd give it a try just to see if you like it and wanna do it, even if its on Twitch in comparison to youtube!
