Live Commentary vs Post Commentary

Most of my gaming videos I do post-edit voice-over commentary. This is especially true for The Sims 3, because I edit *alot* out of the recorded gameplay as I'm trying to weave together a storyline. So I record my gameplay, edit the heck out of it, and then do my voice over. Only if I don't plan to do a lot of editing will I do a "live" commentary. I'm doing that now with my WoW solo dungeon run-throughs. They are all one-shot videos, going through low-level dungeons with my level 89 DK ... very straight forward, doesn't require editing, so I'm able to just do a live commentary.

Live commentary is better to me...
And I agree, there are people faking their live commentary. It was even more obvious when it was Call of Duty theater mode. LOL! Awkward for those who know the difference between live games and theater. But still, some people record live and then fake their live commentary on their videos later. To be honest, that's too much work for me. I prefer improvising right on the spot. I prefer feeling REAL, for my own self. But if people wanna spend extra times to look perfect (if they're also good at acting like as if it was really live), then sure why not! That's some of its own "talent" LOL!.

BUT you can't fake such thing on LIVE STREAMING while interacting with chatroom... And THIS is where your viewers know how you REALLY are live.

I perfer to do live commentary. I find them more fun and entertaining to do. I think I'm very boring when it comes to post commentaries lol. Also I don't fake my live comms. When they're live, they're LIVE lol.

i do live coms my self at first i did post coms and i feel like live is so much better it feels realer ( is that even a word?)and as a veiwer also i lke live coms cause you get the reaction as it happens and its not faked
